Our Mission

Cardboard Guardian is an Australian-based small business, innovating TCG asset protection while maintaining high-end appeal.

With years of experience in handling, dealing, collecting, buying and selling a variety of TCG assets, we have identified what has been lacking in the availability of protective displays, cases and guards in the Australian collectables market. We aim to provide a wide-variety of TCG asset protection to cater to all collectors, adding value and peace of mind to your collection.

Our Vision

At Cardboard Guardian, we strive to be the leaders in TCG asset protection for all graded & sealed TCG memorabilia. We are continually researching and prototyping new designs for various TCG's not yet in stock, as well as enhancing our existing products.

As the hobby evolves, so do we. We keep an eye on existing trends and developments in the marketplace, and thoughtfully adapt our products to what is needed to cater for all levels of collectors. With experience, expertise, and years of collectable community engagement, we strive to make it our top priority to provide trustworthy assets for collectors, by collectors

David Mullin

OUR FOUNDER

Founder of Cardboard Guardian; David Mullin, has been an avid collector and enjoyer of TCG collecting for the past 8 years being involved with Dragonball Super, YuGiOh, and a predominant focus in Pokemon TCG,. Following the trends and watching the Australian market substantially grow over this time, he has seen an influx of new and old collectors return to the hobby, often sharing this passion with their younger generation. While the demand for newer and modern releases continues to sky-rocket, so does the desire for vintage TCG assets, and alongside it the desire to maintain their pristine quality and appeal

Noticing the lack of variety in Australia for TCG protection & display products; leaving collectors having to opt for importing these goods themselves, David's goal was to improve the accessibility for all Aussie collectors. Henceforth came the inception of Cardboard Guardian.
